Unfortunately this keyboard isn’t much of an improvement over the Scorpius P6. I really like the trackball that replaces the seldom used number pad, it’s great for sitting back away from the screen and not having to run a mouse over your leg. But the keyboard itself is the main drawback. Looks like a laptop keyboard but the keys have a short travel and bottom out with a loud clack, which is kinda irritating. But even worse, just because you hit a key doesn’t mean its gonna show up on screen. Just in typing this review, there were several instances where I had to back up and type a word two or three times before all of the letters showed up. This is not a keyboard where you can look away from the screen while typing, which certainly limits its usefulness.
