Do not buy this product. (1) They consume alota batteries to maintain. (2) Slow respond because the signal from the mouse and keyboard has to be sent via signals. (3) Sometimes the signals interfere with each other and cancel each other out, meaning if you are playing a game, you cant click fast or type alot at the same time or even in realatively the same time. Conclusion: Stick to cords and dont even bother with Laser mouses they suck too. This product is wack.

I always check out rating before buying anything. Sometimes they are not always accurate or complete….
I purchased this hoping that it would make my life easier. Well it did just the opposite. The Logitech supplied drivers are simply a poor excuse for software. The reason I say this is because when you install the iTouch or MouseWare software, it overwrites your standard Microsoft PS/2 driver and disables other functions that are necessary for using a non-Logitech PS/2 device. What this means is that once you load this software, no other PS/2 devices other than Logitechs will work. I have a laptop when I undocked it, my built in mouse, PS/2 mouse port and keyboard were all shut down. The only way you can repair this is by having a highly skilled MCSE professional at your side to guide you through a 2 hour recovery. Logitech’s support team tried to say that it wasn’t their software that did this, download a driver update (didn’t make a difference) or that I need to go through this complicated procedure and reload my computer with the windows software that originally came on my machine (Microsfot Knowledge Base Article 256233), therefore meaning that I had to reload all my drivers from when I first got the computer. I tried this on both Windows 2000 and XP and unistalling the SW doesn’t make a difference. I was without my PC for days because of this. The keyboard and mouse will work fine if you do not install the drivers, but that takes away from the nice features the keyboard offers???
Much more trouble than it is worth. Unless you plan to only use Logitechs peripherals — STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. Buy a Microsoft version — at least you know it will be compatible.

I bought this combo knowing that the mouse might [not be good], and it was worse than I thought it was going to be. The mouse lags and skips and was made it very painful to simply navigate the desktop. The keyboard however is pretty good, and was the reason I bought the combo. I purchased the combo on sale … because I really wanted a cordless keyboard, but unless you like laggy mice don’t plan on being able to use the mouse that comes with it. My only complaints with the keyboard are the software and the play/pause button on the keyboard. The software is very primitive compared to the Microsoft keyboard software and does not allow you to map any key to whatever you want. Some keys can not be remapped, and the ones that can have a limited list of options. Furthermore the “Go” button and web buttons do not work with non Microsoft Browsers. My other issue with the keyboard is the play/pause button. It is way to sensitive to the point where when trying to paused a track, it will “double click” unless you tap it very very lightly and start the song over. Don’t buy this combo unless it is at a price that you are willing to pay for just the keyboard.

I only still have it because my other keyboard/mouse options are very basic corded non-optical.
Sometimes the mouse won’t work when I start up the computer and leave teh mouse in the charger.
Sometimes it doesn’t work at all.
I have experienced having to restart multiple times before the mouse would work. And this is a brand new computer we are talking about here. 6/03
Today I had to reinstall the duo completely after restarting so many times I lost count.
It seems to not-work alot.
