The Adesso Illuminated keyboard puts the light only where it is needed, on the keyboard. This eliminates the glare from task lighting, helps prevent eyestrain and makes the keys easy to see. In this day and age, with eyestrain from computing is so prevalent, many people have tried to remove the cause of the strain: THE GLARE. This product has the potential to reduce symptoms of computer vision syndrome (CVS), such as eyestrain and headaches. In addition to improving night vision, it enhances your computing environment by creating a relaxed, ambient atmosphere, conducive to working on those late night projects!It includes 18 multimedia functions found across the top of the keyboard and these are split into 2 groups. On the left we have (from left to right) – Internet Home, Email, Back, Forward, Search, Refresh, Favorites, Stop, Webcam/Mediaplayer, ect. This is the keyboard that teaches you to play using illuminated keys to demonstrate scales, chords, and full songs. The five-octave keyboard is fully-loaded with 400 instrument voices and over 150 rhythms, and LEDs illuminate its touch-sensitive keys to guide players’ fingers through 110 preprogrammed songs, ranging from classical to contemporary. Practice pieces are broken into small learning units that are taught using a clear, methodical step-by-step approach. A microphone jack lets you sing along with songs or record your voice for use in your own creations (microphone not included). You can also play along to your favorite songs when you connect your MP3 player to the keyboard, allowing you to also record samples into your songs. All sounds are produced clearly by two 2-watt speakers. Plugs into AC with the included adapter or uses six AA batteries
