Keystroke Jack Foot Pedal to USB Keyboard Adapter

Product Description
Connect a foot pedal or switch to this device’s 3.5mm stereo phone jack, plug the device into a computer, and you have yourself a programmable custom mini-keyboard, just like our Keystroke Pedal. Choose a key or key combination before you buy, or change it later. Most sustain pedals made for piano-style electronic keyboards have a built-in cord with a standard 1/4″ wide (6.3mm) mono phone plug. The Keystroke Jack accepts any 1/8″ wide (3.5mm) mono or stereo phone plug. Use a standard adapter, such as our 1/4″ to 1/8″ (3.5mm) adapter, to make the connection. Note that the Keystroke Jack is both wider and thicker than a standard USB cable. If there isn’t room to plug it directly into a USB port without blocking adjacent ports, you may prefer to use a standard USB extension cable, such as our USB 2.0 A male to A female extension cable.

Product Description
This product works like the Shiny Devices Keystroke Jack, but has two screw terminals instead of a 3.5mm jack. Just connect both wires from the switch directly to the two screw terminals visible at the bottom of the picture, then plug the Keystroke DIY into your computer’s USB port. Your switch will now act as a one-key USB keyboard.
